　　“我们以前住过的地方，早已从地球上消失了，成为记忆中的标本。过去的永远不会再回来，留下的是什么？”

　　当记忆不由自主地袭来，朴敏宇回想起那个他以为已经被抛在脑后的世界——覆盖整座山的低矮的石板屋顶，错综复杂的狭窄胡同和聚集在小店门前的孩子们的笑脸。

　　作者|[韩]黄晳暎

　　1943年出生于中国长春，童年经历战争，颠沛流离，有过流浪、打工、出家、当兵、坐牢、流亡的经历。他的一生可以说是韩国近代历史的缩影。苦难的经历和曲折的命运让黄晳暎和国家、民族保持历史的同步，并以磅礴的文学世界贯穿了韩民族乃至朝鲜半岛的命运，他也由此被认为是韩国文学巨匠和最有可能代表韩国文学摘取诺贝尔文学奖桂冠的作家。

　　年过八旬的黄晳暎仍在孜孜不倦地创作，他的主要作品有《客地》《去森浦的路》《韩氏年代记》《日暮时分》《熟悉的世界》《铁道员三代》等。曾获万海文学奖、大山文学奖等多项韩国权威文学奖项，其中《日暮时分》获2018爱弥尔·吉美亚洲文学奖，入围2019年国际布克奖，《铁道员三代》入围2024年国际布克奖。其作品被广泛译介到法国、美国、德国、意大利、瑞典等国家和地区，在国际享有盛誉。

About the author

The author |[Han] Hwang Seok-young

Born in Changchun, China in 1943, he experienced war as a child and was displaced from place to place. He had the experience of wandering, working, monastic, soldier, prison and exile. His life is a microcosm of modern Korean history. Hwang Seok-young is regarded as one of the greatest writers of Korean literature and the most likely representative of Korean literature to win the Nobel Prize for Literature because he has kept pace with the history of the country and the nation and traced the fate of the Korean nation and the Korean peninsula with his magnificent literary world.

At the age of 80, Hwang Seok-young is still working tirelessly. His major works include Hakji, The Road to Morpo, The Age of Han, Twilight, A Familiar World, and Three Railroad Men. He has won a number of authoritative Korean literary awards such as the Wanhai Literature Award and the Dashan Literature Award, among which "Twilight" won the 2018 Emile Kimi Asian Literature Award and was shortlisted for the 2019 International Man Booker Prize, and "Three Railroad Men" was shortlisted for the 2024 International Man Booker Prize. His works have been widely translated to France, the United States, Germany, Italy, Sweden and other countries and regions, enjoying a high reputation in the world.

Translator | Xu Lihong

He graduated from Heilongjiang University and studied in Muwon University, South Korea. He won the 8th Korean Literary Translation Award and was selected as Douban's 2023 Translator of the Year.
