王云五（1888—1979），现代出版家，曾任商务印书馆总经理，对我国的出版、文教事业做出过重要贡献。在商务印书馆的25年时间里，坚持以“教育普及、学术独立”为出版方针，出版了世人瞩目的《万有文库》《中国文化史丛书》《大学丛书》等大型丛书。
注译者简介：
李宗侗（1895—1974），河北高阳人。出身于晚清世家大族，为名臣李鸿藻之孙、张之万外孙。曾参与设立台北故宫博物院。曾任北京大学教授、中法大学教授、台湾大学历史系教授。著有《中国古代社会新研》《中国史学史》《历史的剖面》等。
校订者简介：
叶庆炳（1927—1993），浙江余姚人。师从台静农、郑骞等先生。曾任台湾大学教授、辅仁大学教授。著有《中国文学史》《汉魏六朝小说选》《晚鸣轩爱读诗》《晚鸣轩爱读词》等。

Note:
Li Zongdong (1895-1974) was born in Gaoyang, Hebei Province. Born in the late Qing dynasty, he was the grandson of Li Hongzao and the grandson of Zhang Zhiwan. He was involved in the establishment of the Taipei Palace Museum. He was a professor of Peking University, a professor of Sino-French University, and a professor of history at Taiwan University. He is the author of New Research on Ancient Chinese Society, History of Chinese Historiography, Section of History and so on.

Ye Qingbing (1927-1993) was born in Yuyao, Zhejiang Province. He studied under Mr. Tai Jingnong and Mr. Zheng Qian. He was a professor at Taiwan University and Fu Jen University. He is the author of History of Chinese Literature, Selected Novels of Han, Wei and Six Dynasties, Wanming Xuan loves to read Poems, Wanming Xuan loves to read Ci and so on.
