A brief introduction to The Thinker
Why pay attention to thinkers who discuss fundamental questions? How does the opening of one door cause the opening or closing of other doors?
Placing philosophy in the context of The Times, the author engages in a dialogue with leading contemporary philosophers about the schools of philosophy that dominated the 20th century and continue to the present day, examining the conventional branches of philosophy, including moral philosophy, political philosophy, philosophy of science, etc., and combining the relevant history to understand the latest developments in each school and discover how thinkers restate problems. How to think about freedom, the future, and the value and meaning of life. The attempt to find a new way of thinking is necessarily tentative, and these thinkers who have been on the road tell us by their own actions not to listen to authority, but to look at the facts and judge for themselves; Only by engaging in reflection other than technical thinking can we position ourselves.
