【作者简介】
彼得·渥雷本，1964年出生于德国，童年即立志成为自然资源的守护者。大学时选择攻读林业经济学，毕业后二十余年，一直在林业管理局做公务员。为实现用生态平衡体系管理林区的理想，他辞去公职，在德国埃菲尔（Eifel）地区领导并管理着一片环保林区，致力于恢复这片森林的原始形态，并就森林和环保等主题发表演说，开设课程，著书立说。已出版《树的秘密生命》《森林——一场发现之旅》等十余部作品。
【译者简介】
本名许洁，1965年生于上海，先后毕业于中央戏剧学院戏剧文学系、德国科隆大学戏剧电影电视学院，后获中国科学院心理所心理学硕士学位。2008年移居德国慕尼黑。现主要从事网络文学创作和翻译工作。翻译作品有《弗朗兹系列》《在那遥远的森林里》《草原精灵小矮人》《小熊帮》《妈妈走了》《火鞋与风鞋》等。其中《弗朗兹系列》2015年获得由德国图书信息中心及驻华大使馆文化处颁发的德译中翻译奖。

Peter Woereben, born in Germany in 1964, grew up determined to be a guardian of natural resources. In college, I chose to study forestry economics. After graduation, I have been working as a civil servant in the Forestry Administration for more than 20 years. In order to realize the ideal of managing forests with an ecologically balanced system, he resigned from public office to lead and manage an environmental forest in the Eifel region of Germany, working to restore this forest to its original form, and giving lectures, teaching courses, and writing books on forest and environmental issues. He has published more than 10 books, including "The Secret Life of Trees" and "Forest - A Journey of Discovery".

Xu Jie, born in 1965 in Shanghai, graduated from the Department of Dramatic Literature of the Central Academy of Drama, the School of Drama, Film and Television of the University of Cologne, Germany, and then obtained a master's degree in psychology from the Institute of Psychology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He moved to Munich, Germany in 2008. He is now mainly engaged in online literature creation and translation work. Translation works include "Franz Series", "In that distant forest", "Prairie Elves and Dwarfs", "Bear Gang", "Mother is gone", "Fire Shoes and Wind Shoes" and so on. In 2015, the Franz Series won the German-Chinese Translation Award awarded by the German Library and Information Center and the Cultural Section of the Embassy in China.
