《北宋名家词选讲》提供作译者介绍叶嘉莹，号迦陵。1924年出生于北京，20世纪40年代毕业于辅仁大学国文系。50年代任台湾大学教授，并在淡江与辅仁两大学任兼职教授。60年代应邀担任美国哈佛大学、密歇根州立大学客座教授。后定居加拿大，任加拿大不列颠哥伦比亚大学终身教授，并曾于80年代至90年代再度赴美，在耶鲁大学、印第安那大学讲学，1989年当选为加拿大皇家学会院士。自1970年代末返大陆讲学，先后任南开大学、四川大学、北京师范大学等客座教授，1996年在南开大学创办“中华古典文化研究所”，设立“驼庵”奖.
作者简介
叶嘉莹，号迦陵。生于燕京旧家，40年代毕业于辅仁大学国文系，为诗词名家顾随先生入室弟子。50年代台湾大学任教授，并在淡江与辅仁两大学任兼职教授60年代赴美任密西根州立大学、哈佛大学客座教授，后定居加拿大温哥华，任不列颠哥伦比亚大学终身教授。1989年退休后，当选为加拿大皇家学会院士。自70年代末返大陆讲学，先后任南开大学、四川大学、北京师范大学等客座教授，南开大学中国文学比较研究所所长及中国社科院文学所名誉研究员。
A brief introduction to the content of the Northern Song Dynasty famous Ci Selection
"Northern Song Dynasty famous Ci speech" to provide translator introduction Ye Jiaying, no. Jialing. Born in 1924 in Beijing, he graduated from the Chinese Department of Fu Jen University in the 1940s. In the 1950s, he was a professor at Taiwan University and an adjunct professor at Tamkang and Furen universities. In the 1960s, he was invited to serve as a visiting professor at Harvard University and Michigan State University. After settling in Canada, he was a tenured professor at the University of British Columbia, Canada, and went to the United States again in the 1980s and 1990s, lecturing at Yale University and Indiana University, and was elected a fellow of the Royal Society of Canada in 1989. Since the late 1970s, he returned to the mainland to give lectures, and successively served as a visiting professor at Nankai University, Sichuan University, Beijing Normal University, etc. In 1996, he founded the "Institute of Chinese Classical Culture" in Nankai University and established the "Tuo 'an" award.
About the author
Ye Jiaying, No. Jialing. Born in an old family in Yanjing, graduated from the Chinese language department of Fu Ren University in the 1940s, and became a disciple of the famous poet Mr. Gu Sui. After retiring in 1989, he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada.
