虽然这把年纪，但我还是单身，因此既没有丈夫也没有孩子。既没有想要见证幸福的对象，也没有想要守护的身影。
截至目前的人生，我觉得自己过得还是相当开心的，没有什么遗憾。
对于生命即将终结这件事，我没有遗憾，也没有抵触情绪。因为生命是有限的，总有一天会迎来终结的时刻。但是，丧失几乎全部的机能，靠人工呼吸器维持呼吸、连话也不能说、靠胃造瘘管往体内输送营养、由别人定时帮换尿布，我不想这样度过每一天，自己也感觉不到这样活下去的必要性。
我祈祷在自己卧床不起之前结束生命。
期望在我还是我的时候实现安乐死。

1976年出生于长野县。记者。18岁只身赴美，就读西弗吉尼亚大学外语学院。毕业后，进入西班牙巴塞罗那大学研究生院，获国际学硕士学位、新闻学硕士学位。掌握法语、西班牙语、英语、葡萄牙语、加泰罗尼亚语等多门语言。以法国和西班牙为阵地，在世界各地取材。所著《寻找卵子：探访世界不育、生殖医疗现场》获小学馆非虚构文学大奖优秀奖，《安乐死现场》获讲谈社非虚构文学奖。

At my age, I am still single and therefore have no husband or children. Neither want to witness the object of happiness, nor want to guard the figure.
So far in my life, I think I have been quite happy and have no regrets.
I have no regrets and no resistance to the imminent end of my life. Because life is limited, and one day it will come to an end. However, losing almost all my functions, relying on artificial respirators to maintain my breathing, unable to even speak, relying on gastrostomy tubes to deliver nutrients to the body, and having someone else change diapers regularly, I did not want to live like this every day, and I did not feel the need to live like this.
I prayed to end my life before I became bedridden.
Hoping to achieve euthanasia while I'm still me.

Born in Nagano Prefecture in 1976. Journalist. At the age of 18, he went to the United States and studied at the School of Foreign Languages of West Virginia University. After graduation, he entered the Graduate School of the University of Barcelona, Spain, and obtained a master's degree in International studies and a Master's degree in journalism. Speak French, Spanish, English, Portuguese, Catalan and many other languages. Taking France and Spain as the bases, they took materials from all over the world. His book In Search of Eggs: A Visit to the World of Infertility and Reproductive Medicine won the Excellence Award for Non-Fiction Literature of the Elementary School Pavilion, and his book in the Field of Euthanasia won the Kodansha Non-Fiction Literature Prize.
