英国社会学家、作家。长期从事性和性别、家务、分娩、身体社会学、女权主义研究。
伦敦大学学院社会学和社会政策系教授，代表作有《地球上的性别》《性、性别和社会》等。牛津大学萨默维尔学院授予其荣誉院士的称号。
2011年，英国社会学协会授予其终身成就奖。

About the author
Ann Oakley
British sociologist and writer. He has long been engaged in research on sexuality and gender, housework, childbirth, body sociology, and feminism.
Professor of Sociology and Social Policy at University College London, author of "Gender on Earth" and "Sex, Gender and Society". Somerville College, Oxford, made him an honorary Fellow.
In 2011, the British Sociological Association awarded him a Lifetime Achievement Award.
Translator's introduction
