作者简介
詹姆斯·巴里（JamesMattchewBarrie,1860-1937），英国剧作家、小说家。出生于苏格兰一个纺织工人的家庭。1882年毕业于爱丁堡大学，从事新闻工作数年，并开始文学创作。1919年任安德鲁大学校长；1928年当选为英国作家协会主席；1930年受聘为爱丁堡大学名誉校长。

About the author
James Barrie (1860-1937) was an English playwright and novelist. Born in Scotland to a family of textile workers. He graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 1882, worked as a journalist for several years, and began writing literature. He became Chancellor of the University of Andrews in 1919. In 1928, he was elected President of the Society of British Writers. In 1930 he was appointed Chancellor of the University of Edinburgh.
His novels depict rural Scottish life in the vernacular, with humour and romance. His main works include "The Little Priest", "The Little White Bird" and "Farewell, Miss Millie". Barry wrote many fairy tales and pantomimes throughout his life. The name "Peter Pan" first appeared in the 1902 novel The Little White Bird. In 1904, the play Peter Pan was published and premiered in London on December 27, causing a sensation. 1911 The novel "Peter Pan" was published. Subsequently, this work was translated into many languages and flew to the world, winning the love of readers in various countries.
