作者简介
许小丽（ElisabethHsu），牛津大学医学人类学终身教授。1985年获得生物学（植物学）本科和硕士双学位，1987年获语言学硕士学位，1992年获社会人类学博士学位，2002完成德国海德堡大学汉学特许教授资格论文。精通英语、德语、法语、意大利语等多个语种，以及拉丁语、希腊语和中文文言文等古文。凭借出色的语言能力，她在社会学层面对生态、环境、历史等内容进行了全新的理论探讨，提出了医学本身即社会学的概念。。1992年加入苏黎世大学社会人类学学院后，她进一步加强了该学院自1977年以来开设的医学人类学课程体系建设。2001年前往牛津大学，为MSC和MPhil开设了医学人类学课程。2006年筹建牛津大学东方医学和宗教研究中心，为博士后研究提供指导，并从医学人类学独特的学科视角出发，积极推进西方的中医学比较研究。著有《中医的传承》《中医脉诊研究》。许小丽运用人类学方法进行中医研究，开创了中医人类学研究的先河。
The particularity of TCM determines that it has the attributes of both natural science and philosophy and social science. This book discusses the teaching and learning of TCM knowledge under the three modes of TCM esoteric transmission, personalized transmission and standardized transmission, and reflects on the changes in the results and effects of knowledge transmission brought about by the changes in the methods and forms of TCM college education and traditional teaching. What happens when so-called "secret knowledge" begins to be taught as "standardized knowledge" in modern higher education classrooms? Can this knowledge be taught transparently and openly to anyone?
About the author
ElisabethHsu is tenured professor of medical anthropology at the University of Oxford. He received a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in Biology (Botany) in 1985, a master's degree in linguistics in 1987, a doctorate degree in social anthropology in 1992, and a dissertation for the chartered professorship of Sinology at the University of Heidelberg in Germany in 2002. Proficient in English, German, French, Italian and other languages, as well as Latin, Greek and Chinese classical Chinese and other ancient languages. With her excellent language skills, she has conducted new theoretical discussions on ecology, environment and history at the sociological level, and proposed the concept of medicine itself as sociology. After joining the Faculty of Social Anthropology at the University of Zurich in 1992, she further strengthened the medical anthropology curriculum offered by the Faculty since 1977. In 2001 he moved to Oxford University where he taught a course in Medical anthropology for MSC and MPhil. In 2006, the University of Oxford established the Center for Oriental Medicine and Religious Studies to provide guidance for postdoctoral research, and actively promote the comparative study of traditional Chinese medicine in the West from the unique disciplinary perspective of medical anthropology. He is the author of "Inheritance of Chinese Medicine" and "Research on Pulse Diagnosis of Chinese Medicine". Xu Xiaoli used anthropological methods to study traditional Chinese medicine and created a precedent in the study of traditional Chinese medicine anthropology.
