作者简介
郭畑1982年生，重庆大学历史学副教授，于四川大学先后获得历史学学士、硕士和博士学位。主要研究方向为唐宋学术思想史。主持国家社科基金青年项目“唐宋道统论研究”、教育部人文社会科学研究青年项目“宋代儒家道统系谱的建构与争论”。

As an important part of Confucian culture, the concept of "Daoism" has deeply influenced the continuation, transformation and development of Chinese classical civilization since Han Yu advocated it, and the study of Confucian Daoism and the genealogy of Daoism has always been the focus of the study of the history of ancient Chinese philosophy and the history of thought.
On the basis of collecting and combing the existing research results in the academic circle, this book comprehensively traces the process of the germination, construction, splitting, deconstruction and reconstruction of the Confucian Taoism genealogy in the Tang and Song Dynasties, involving the promotion of Mencius in the Song Dynasty, the establishment of the status of Zeng Zi and Zsi Taoism, and the ideological and political disputes between the neo-Confucian schools in the two Song Dynasties. It presents the historical process of the transformation of Confucianism to Neo-Confucianism from the Middle Tang Dynasty to the Southern Song Dynasty, Han Dynasty and Tang Dynasty, and the valuable attempt of Confucianism to connect "inner sage" and "outer king" with the study of moral life. It may be enlightening to rethink and activate the value of Confucianism in contemporary society.
About the author
Guo Hatan, born in 1982, is an associate professor of history at Chongqing University. He received his bachelor's, master's and doctor's degrees in history from Sichuan University. His main research direction is the history of academic thought in Tang and Song dynasties. He presided over the National Social Science Foundation youth project "Tang and Song Dynasty Taoism Theory Research" and the Ministry of Education Humanities and Social Science research youth project "Song Dynasty Confucian Taoism Genealogy Construction and Debate".
