耶胡达·阿米亥（YehudaAmichai，1924—2000）
以色列国宝级诗人，20世纪最为重要的国际诗人之一。他生于德国，十二岁时随家迁居以色列；参加过二战，战后当了多年中学老师。他的诗透明而睿智，善于把日常与神圣、爱情与战争、个人与民族等因素糅合起来。其诗被译成近40种语言，他曾多次被提名诺贝尔文学奖。1982年，他因为“诗歌主题和语言的革命性变革”，获得了以色列最高荣誉“以色列奖”。

Between Promise and Forgetting
Amihai is a national treasure of Israel and one of the most important international poets of the 20th century. Transparent, intelligent and humorous, his poems have both private experiences and personal lives, as well as grand propositions and collective memories. In his poems, personal happiness is the yardstick of all things, and love, not God, is the only refuge in a turbulent world. He skillfully blends modernity and tradition, personal emotion and universal meaning, to recreate the fate of the Jewish nation and the survival of each of us.
This book selects more than 200 excellent poems from the poems created by Amihai throughout his life, including various styles and themes of Amihai's creative career, and presents a complete and concise world of Amihai's poems that are close to life and imaginative.

YehudaAmichai (1924-2000)
Israeli national treasure poet, one of the most important international poets of the 20th century. He was born in Germany and moved to Israel with his family when he was twelve. He fought in World War II and was a high school teacher for many years after the war. His poems are transparent and intelligent, blending the everyday and the sacred, love and war, the individual and the nation. His poems have been translated into nearly 40 languages, and he has been nominated for the Nobel Prize in Literature several times. In 1982, he received the Israel Prize, Israel's highest honor, for "revolutionary changes in the subject matter and language of poetry."

Liu Guopeng
Professor, Institute of World Religions, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. He graduated from Peking University in Philosophy in 1996, received his doctorate in the History of the Catholic Church from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan, Italy in 2006, and did postdoctoral research at the University of Paris in 2008. His research fields include modern and contemporary history of the Catholic Church, comparative religion, and comparison of Chinese and Western cultures.
