作者简介
美国罗文大学历史系杰出教授，上海外国语大学全球文明史研究所兼职讲座教授，曾任北京大学历史系长江讲座教授。主要从事比较史学史、史学理论与思想文化史研究，任国际史学史、史学理论委员会理事并兼任理事长十余年。出版包括AGlobalHistoryofModernHistoriography，InventingChinathroughHistory:TheMayFourthApproachtoHistoriography，《融汇与互动：比较史学的新视野》《中国现代历史意识的产生》《人写的历史必须是人的历史吗？》等在内的中英文史学理论著作二十余种，其《筷子：饮食与文化》一书获得Choice“杰出学术著作”奖。
What Is a History of Emotion? 【 Content Introduction 】
The history of emotion has become a new direction of contemporary historiography. It overturns many traditional historical concepts, from the dualism of nature/society, body/mind, to the historical narrative of male center and Western center, and also brings more reflections: what is historical fact? How to test the value of historical materials? Should historians take a moral stand? Does the historical narrative need to be coherent?
This book is a collection of essays on the introduction and practice of the history of emotion by Professor Wang Qingjia, an expert in world historiography and chief editor of Kuangqi's History of Emotion over the years, systematically combs the origin and development, theory and value, methodology and epistemology of the history of emotion, and discusses the above issues with case studies on this basis.
About the author
Distinguished Professor of History, Rowan University, adjunct Chair Professor, Institute of Global History of Civilization, Shanghai International Studies University, and former Changjiang Chair Professor, Department of History, Peking University. He is mainly engaged in the research of comparative history, historiography theory and ideological and cultural history, and has been a member and chairman of the International Historiography History and Historiography Theory Committee for more than ten years. Publication including AGlobalHistoryofModernHistoriography, InventingChinathroughHistory: TheMayFourthApproachtoHistoriography, "together with interactive: A New Perspective of Comparative Historiography, The Emergence of Modern Chinese Historical Consciousness, Must Human History be Human History?
