作者简介
当代推理小说大师，1956年出生于法国东北部。霍尔特以“密室”和“不可能犯罪”题材的构思见长，被读者誉为“不可能犯罪之王”。
霍尔特从小就喜欢神秘的童话故事，长大后热衷于阅读阿加莎·克里斯蒂和约翰·迪克森·卡尔的作品，并深受影响。他十分擅长阴森诡异的氛围渲染，作品中多出现怪物、鬼魂、恶魔等超自然元素。霍尔特至今已创作四十多部作品，代表作有《第四扇门》《第七重解答》《恶狼之夜》等。其笔下两大名侦探“图威斯特博士”和“欧文·伯恩斯”为读者津津乐道。

About the author
Master of contemporary mystery fiction, born in northeastern France in 1956. Holt is known for his ideas on "Secret Rooms" and "impossible crimes", and is known by readers as "the king of impossible crimes".
Holt loved mystical fairy tales as a child, and grew up reading Agatha Christie and John Dixon Carr, and was deeply influenced by them. He is very good at rendering the dark and strange atmosphere, and there are many supernatural elements such as monsters, ghosts, demons in his works. Holt has written more than 40 works, including "The Fourth Door," "The Seventh Solution," and "Night of the Wolf."
