Powerful people are good at upward socializing, because they know that a person wants to progress, must communicate with people who are more powerful than themselves to progress. So how do you get to know people who are better than you?
First, get your mind and body into the social zone ahead of time, and prepare a "conversation resume" and a "back-up story" to help you get off to a smooth start, be witty and charming.
Secondly, finding similarities with excellent people, such as common interests, topics, can make the other person quickly open their hearts and narrow the distance.
