　　阿里•沙维特，以色列著名的专栏作家，中东问题专家。沙维特出生在以色列的雷霍沃特，后加入以色列国防军，成为一名伞兵，并在耶路撒冷的希伯来大学研读哲学。在20世纪80年代，他开始为《Koteretrashit周报》撰写文章，90年代担任以色列公民权利协会董事会的主席，1995年，他加入了《国土报》，并成为《国土报》的首席记者之一。沙维特同样也是以色列大众电视媒体的重要时事评论员。

About the author

Ali Shavit is a prominent Israeli columnist and Middle East expert. Born in Rehovot, Israel, Shavit joined the Israel Defense Forces as a paratrooper and studied philosophy at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. In the 1980s he began writing articles for the Weekly newspaper Koteretrashit, in the 1990s he served as chairman of the board of directors of the Association for Civil Rights in Israel, and in 1995 he joined Haaretz and became one of its chief journalists. Shavit is also a prominent commentator on Israeli popular television.
