《寻梦与归来》内容简介：

　　敦煌，投射着一百多年来中华民族的荣辱沧桑。

　　敦煌珍品的流散，是近代中国伤心历程的缩影，众多敦煌遗书和少许壁画雕塑，如今分藏于世界各地。当年，它们的流散过程充满了无知与欺骗，巧取与豪夺。而今天，各国收藏机构合作对其修复、出版与数字共享，各国学者悉心研究、相互交流，共同推动着对人类文明成果的保护和利用。“敦煌在中国，敦煌学在世界”因此形成。

　　新华社高级记者。毕业于武汉大学、北京大学历史系。多次赴丝绸之路旅行。国内首位赴地球四极——南极、北极、第三极（高极，青藏高原）、第四极（深极，马里亚纳海沟）采访拍摄的记者。新闻报道之外，从事大航海时代以来的全球化和探险史研究。

　　曾前往南极冰盖之巅考察并环航南极大陆；随船考察冰上丝绸之路，中央电视台8集大型纪录片《北极，北极！》执行总策划、总撰稿；在马里亚纳海沟下潜，个人摄影展《刘诗平，随“蛟龙”下潜五千米》参展第七届大理国际影会。已出版《汇丰金融帝国：140年的中国故事》《洋行之王：怡和与它的商业帝国》等著作。

　　中国人民大学教授。北京大学历史学博士，南开大学历史学博士后，研究方向为隋唐史、敦煌吐鲁番学。

Dunhuang reflects the vicissitudes of the Chinese nation over the past 100 years.
