About the author
American child psychologist, psychiatrist, and educator. Founder of modern practical child psychology. After receiving his M.D. from the University of Vienna in 1923, Drex worked closely with Adler on family and child counseling. His pioneering development of Adler's psychoanalysis and individual psychology into a series of practical methods has had a deep and widespread influence in Western education and psychology circles.
His books include Children: The Challenge, Parents: The Challenge, Marriage: The Challenge, and Psychology in the Classroom.
