对于诗圣杜甫，从来不缺少研究。但宋代以来，诸家对杜甫生命历程的划分多侧重后半段，关于杜甫的前半生很少有深入考证，以至杜甫的实际生命史划分不均衡，人生前三四十年关注不多，而这恰恰是他思想和认知的形成发展期。
本书聚焦杜甫的前半生，以历史学的研究方法，结合唐史研究，将杜甫置于8世纪的家族、社会、政治斗争以及地缘格局中，考证并还原出一幅杜甫当日所目睹、所身处的历史图景。

王炳文
1986年生，历史学博士，中国古典文献学博士后，现为厦门大学历史与文化遗产学院助理教授。研究领域为唐代政治史与民族史，著有《从胡地到戎墟：安史之乱与河北胡化问题研究》。

There is no lack of research on Du Fu, the poet saint. However, since the Song Dynasty, the division of Du Fu's life course has mostly focused on the second half, and there is little in-depth research on the first half of Du Fu's life, so that the division of Du Fu's actual life history is unbalanced, and little attention is paid to the first 30 or 40 years of his life, which is precisely the formation and development of his thoughts and cognition.
Focusing on the first half of Du Fu's life, this book uses historical research methods, combined with Tang history research, to place Du Fu in the context of family, social, political struggles, and geographical patterns in the 8th century, and to research and restore a historical picture of what Du Fu witnessed and lived in that day.
About the author
Wang Bingwen
Born in 1986, Ph. D. in History, postdoc in Classical Chinese Philology, Assistant Professor at the School of History and Cultural Heritage, Xiamen University. His research field is the political history and national history of the Tang Dynasty, and he is the author of "From Hu Di to Rong Hui: A Study of An Shi Rebellion and Hu Hua in Hebei".
