我们何时应该相信一瞬间的判断？何时又要召唤理性登台，控制直觉与偏见？事实上，这是个很值得研究的问题，因为我们总以为自己能够思考，但结果是我们常常受到未知因素的影响，对思考的准确性充满假设与武断，有时又过分依赖昔日的感知和经验，因而常常作出因个人偏见而导致的错误决策。
基于此，如果我们还希望自己能够变得更加聪明、更加冷静、更加机智，那就要学会“快思”与“慢想”的游戏规则。
笔者尹晓峰编写《快思慢想》的目的，就是希望能够与大家共同探讨一下，在人生中的哪些时刻、哪些场景下我们需要“快思”，抓住那稍纵即逝的灵感；而在哪些事件上、哪些决定中我们又需要“慢想”，稳稳妥妥地去完成自己的人生大计。事实上，《快思慢想》并不是那种一板一眼的、以学术性口吻探讨思维训练的文章，很显然我们更愿意借助那些寓意深刻的案例，以通俗干练的语言，与大家完成这次探讨。

When should we trust a split second of judgment? When will reason be summoned to control intuition and prejudice? In fact, this is a question well worth studying, because we think we can think, but it turns out that we are often influenced by unknown factors, full of assumptions and arbitrary thinking about the accuracy of thinking, sometimes relying too much on past perceptions and experiences, and often making wrong decisions based on personal biases.
Based on this, if we want to become smarter, calmer, and more resourceful, we need to learn the rules of the game of "think fast" and "think slow."
The author Yin Xiaofeng wrote "Fast thinking slow thinking" purpose, is to be able to discuss with you, in which moments in life, what scenes we need to "fast thinking", seize the fleeting inspiration; And in what events, what decisions we need to "think slowly", to complete their own life plan steadily and no problem. In fact, "Think Fast, Think Slow" is not the kind of straight-forward, academic tone of the article on thinking training, it is obvious that we prefer to use those profound moral cases, in popular language, with you to complete this discussion.
