美国纽约州立布法罗大学哲学博士，北京大学哲学系教授。主要研究方为现象学、儒家哲学、比较哲学，已出版著作：《海德格尔思想与中国天道》《海德格尔传》《从现象学到孔夫子》《当代西方哲学笔记》《西方哲学笔记》《思想避难：全球化中的中国古代哲理》《德国哲学、德国文化与中国哲理》《复见天地心》《家与孝》等。
