　　日本战后思想界领军人物竹内好的思想传记，刻画竹内好一生追索的核心问题——日本社会如何打造健康的文化主体性。

A brief introduction to the Paradox of Takeuchi Yoshi

The ideological biography of Takeuchi Yoshi, a leading figure in postwar Japanese thought circles, depicts the core issue of Takeuchi Yoshi's lifelong pursuit - how to build healthy cultural subjectivity in Japanese society.

The representative work of Sun Ge, a scholar of the history of Japanese political thought, has accumulated more than ten years of achievements, and has added discussions on Takeuchi's Asian view and China understanding, presenting Takeuchi's spiritual course more completely.

Takeuchi is the author of Lu Xun, an expert in Chinese literature, and a leading figure in postwar Japanese thought. He wrote "What is Modern", "Asia as a Method" and many other "representative papers that created postwar Japan", and was a "fear friend" in the eyes of the famous political historian Maruyama MAO.

This is a thought-biography of Takeuchi Yoshi. For Takeuchi, China is not an external other, but an internal opportunity for self-denial. On this paradoxical level, Takeuchi regards China and Lu Xun as the spiritual origin of his life struggle, explores the spiritual resources that can be transformed in Japan's modern history, and initiates debates and intervenes in major contemporary issues. Sun Ge, PhD in Political Science, Faculty of Law, Tokyo Metropolitan University, Distinguished Professor, School of Japanese Language, Beijing International Studies University, Research Fellow, Institute of Literature, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. His research field is the history of Japanese political thought.
