本书宗旨主要呈现人民教育家陈鹤琴热爱儿童、奉献儿童的一生。重点放在探究陈鹤琴是什么样的人（人格魅力及人文性的故事），陈鹤琴有着什么样的教育思想（面向大众应用性的理念），他的教育思想与实践对中国幼儿教育影响以及面向未来的影响，用深入浅出的表达方式来讲述这位大众化的幼儿教育家不平凡的一生以及其适合中国儿童教育的思想理念，让学前儿童的家长、教师能够学以致用。

Introduction of works
The purpose of this book is mainly to show the people's educator Chen Heqin's love for children and dedication to children's life.
