作者简介
高峰枫,北京大学英语系教授,美国加州大学伯克利分校文学博士。主要研究领域为西方古典文学、圣经接受史、圣经与西方思想传统。
著有《古典的回声》《古典的回声(二集)》《维吉尔史诗中的历史与政治》等,译有《册子本起源考》《维吉尔〈埃涅阿斯纪〉导论》等,是“六合丛书”“西方古典学研究”两套丛书的主编之一。
The Book takes its own Life
After "Classical Echoes" and "Classical Echoes (two sets)", Professor Gao Fengfeng published the third collection of essays. Collected from 2015 to 2022, he wrote eight long essays, honing his knowledge on specific "things" and "things".
The change in the form of books, the exile of the Codex Sinaiticus, the arrival of Assyrian statues and clay tablets from Iraq to London and Paris, the West's obsession with finding the prehistoric civilization of Atlantis, the recent falsification of the Gospel of Jesus' Wife and the mystery of the authenticity of Shostakovich's Testimony, each of which has taken on the words "The book takes its own life."
About the author
Gao Fengfeng is a professor of English at Peking University and a Doctor of Letters from the University of California, Berkeley. His research interests include Western classical literature, the history of Biblical acceptance, the Bible and Western thought traditions.
He is the author of "Classical Echoes", "Classical Echoes (two volumes)", "History and Politics in Virgil's Epic", and has translated "The Origins of the Book", "Introduction to Virgil's Aeneid", and is one of the chief editors of two series of "Six Books" and "Western Classical Studies".
