出生于1970年的马来西亚华人女作家贺淑芳,以长篇小说的形式,介入发生在她出生前一年的历史事件。书写事件发生当日,及其后的延宕岁月中,女主人公们的生活。
从1960年代末,到2010年代,她们经历黑暗的记忆,南上北下,接受聚散浮萍的命运,坚韧求生。仿佛被迫陷于永不停歇的流浪,在胶林矿湖,和城市景貌中,逐渐衰老、出生、转变。跨越孤立的境地和破碎的生活,缓慢自愈。
作者简介
贺淑芳是马来西亚作家,1970年出生于马来西亚吉打州。曾获时报文学奖、联合报文学奖、九歌年度小说奖。著有短篇小说集《时间边境》(2012)、《湖面如镜》(2014)以及长篇小说《蜕》(2023)。其中《湖面如镜》已经译成英语与日语,在伦敦、旧金山与东京出版。
政大中文所硕士、南洋理工大学博士毕业。曾任工程师、《南洋商报》副刊专题记者、马来西亚金宝拉曼大学中文系讲师。撰写七年后付梓出版的长篇小说《蜕》期间,她曾于2020年夏天,移居台北,在台北艺术大学担任专任助理教授。在淡水居住三年后,于2023年再度返回马来西亚。

About the author
She is a Malaysian writer, born in 1970 in Kedah, Malaysia. He has won The Times Literary Award, the United Daily News Literary Award, and the Annual Novel Award of Nine Songs. He is the author of a collection of short stories, "The Frontier of Time" (2012), "A Lake Like a Mirror" (2014), and a novel, "Decaying" (2023). "A Lake Like a Mirror" has been translated into English and Japanese and published in London, San Francisco and Tokyo.
He graduated from the School of Chinese Studies at Cheng University and from Nanyang Technological University. He used to be an engineer, a special reporter for the supplement of Nanyang Siang Pau, and a lecturer in the Chinese Department of the University of Malaysia. While writing Fu Zi's novel Decaying, which was published seven years later, she moved to Taipei in the summer of 2020 to work as a full-time assistant professor at Taipei University of the Arts. He returned to Malaysia in 2023 after living in Tamsui for three years.
