作者简介
祖籍不可考。1950年生于北京。1963年考入北京八中，1968年7月离校赴北大荒。在校时曾任班长，此乃一生中的最高职务，以后近40年中始终是标准“布衣”，未担任过任何一级正式与非正式的官职。在北大荒务农、造砖、伐木、采石、教书，逾八年。1978年考入北京师范学院读书。1979年考入社科院研究生院，1982年获哲学硕士。1985－86年在美国丹福大学社会学系读书，获社会学硕士。因不满时下学术空气，不断跳槽，先后在北京社科院、中国社科院、人民大学、北京大学供职，唯社会学专业至今不綴。曾任中央电视台“东方之子”主持人，“实话实说”总策划，不堪各级“婆婆”的审查管束，终于金盆洗手。曾作自我素描：懒散，不整衣冠，精神上却有洁癖，若游戏规则不公正宁可不参加。青年时代思想步入异端，再难返回正统。微染自虐症，少时习中长跑，年近五十患冬泳症。以争辩为快事，虽对事不对人，却也常常得理不让人。

About the author
Ancestral home cannot be tested. He was born in Beijing in 1950. He was admitted to Beijing No. 8 Middle School in 1963 and left for Beidahuang in July 1968. At school, he was the monitor, which is the highest position in his life, and has been the standard "cloth" for nearly 40 years, and has not held any formal and informal official positions. Farmed, brick-made, felled, quarried and taught in the North Wilderness for over eight years. He was admitted to Beijing Normal University in 1978. He was admitted to the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in 1979 and received his Master of Philosophy in 1982. In 1985-86, he studied at the Department of Sociology, Stanford University, USA, and obtained a master's degree in sociology. Dissatisfied with the current academic atmosphere, he has been job-hopping, successively working in Beijing Academy of Social Sciences, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Renmin University, and Peking University, except for sociology. He was once the host of CCTV's "Son of the East", the general planner of "Telling it like it is", unable to withstand the censorship of "mother-in-law" at all levels, and finally washed his hands. Once made a self-sketch: lazy, not full dress, but the spirit of cleanliness, if the rules of the game is unfair would rather not participate.
