Eight Lessons on Africa
This book, compiled from the lectures given by the famous author Alain Mabancu at the College de France, deals with literary writing, cultural and even political perspectives in Africa. "Blackness" is not only a matter between black people, but also a way to rethink the spirit of black humanism. Africa has experienced a long struggle from darkness to light, and these eight lessons express the author's strong desire for African culture to live in peace with global culture. It is also a comprehensive guide to shed preconceived notions and other misconceptions, to shed Western colonial discourse, and to rediscover the real Africa.
