作品简介

　　本书是民国时期学者印水心参加第一、二届高等考试命题、阅卷期间所写的《第一届高等考试锁闱日记》、《第二届高等考试锁闱日录》的合编。作为一个参与者，印水心生动翔实地记录了两届高等考试的全过程，一些具体运作的关键问题，通过其笔触一一呈现。

　　《第一届高等考试锁闱日记》所记，自民国二十年（1931）年七月六日起，至八月九日止，“月有五日，公暇辄日有所记”，首尾完具，无一日空阕。《第二届高等考试锁闱日录》所记则“自（民国二十二年）十月十二日起，至十一月二十六日止，凡四十有六日”，举凡会议记录、条教设施暨典、襄各委诗文酬唱诸作，悉举而笔之日记，翔实可信，自可“别为一编”。1936年4月，南京京华书局以《高等考试锁闱日录》为题正式出版发行，将《第一届高等考试锁闱日记》作为附录三，置于书尾。此次整理，已按自然时序进行了相应的调整。

　　印水心（1883—1968），原名“鸾章”，“水心”系其笔名，号“立斋”，又署“云母山樵”，江苏省盐城县城厢人。印水心自幼聪颖好学，清光绪三十年（1904）考入当时的最高学府———京师大学堂（亦即今北京大学的前身）中国文学科，三年后以优异成绩毕业并留校任教。清宣统元年（1909），他辞去北大教职，来到当时的中国新闻出版中心———上海，先后担任上海商务印书馆、中国图书公司、世界书局、上海广学会等机构的编辑，又曾任《神州日报》、《民权报》、《新民时报》记者及主笔。他在编校工作之余，还兼任东吴大学、沪江大学及明强中学等校的文史课程。后来，他加入民国政府公务员队伍，先后在工商部、实业部、财政部、考试院等机构任职。民国二十年第一届高等考试、二十二年第二届高等考试，他就是以考试院铨叙部部员的身份担任襄试委员的。

Introduction of works

This book is a compilation of the Diary of the First Session of Higher Examination and the Diary of the second session of Higher Examination, which was written by scholar Yinshuixin during the period of Republic of China when he participated in the first and second session of Higher Examination. As a participant, Inshuixin vividly recorded the whole process of the two higher examinations, and some key issues of the specific operation were presented one by one through their brushstrokes.

"The first session of the higher examination locked the diary" recorded, since the Republic of China twenty years (1931) from July 6 to August 9, "the month has five days, every day to remember", the beginning and end of the end, no day empty tie. "The Second Session of the Higher Examination Locked the Day Record" recorded "from October 12 (22 years of the Republic of China) to November 26, every forty-six days", including meeting minutes, teaching facilities and articles, the committee of poetry and singing, the diary, detailed and credible, can be "separate as a compilation". In April 1936, Nanjing Jinghua Book Company officially published the Diary of the First Session of Higher Examination and the Diary of the First Session of Higher Examination and the Diary was placed at the end of the book as Appendix III. This arrangement has been adjusted in accordance with the natural sequence.

Yinshuixin (1883-1968), formerly known as Luan Zhang, was born in Chengxiang, Yancheng County, Jiangsu Province, under his pen name Lizhai and Mica Mountain Qiao. Yin Shuixin was intelligent and studious from a young age. In 1904, he was admitted to the Chinese literature Department of the Peking University (the predecessor of today's Peking University), the highest institution at that time, and graduated with honors three years later. In the first year of Xuantong of the Qing Dynasty (1909), he resigned from his teaching position at Peking University and came to Shanghai, the press and publication Center of China at that time. He successively served as the editor of Shanghai Commercial Press, China Book Company, World Book Company, Shanghai Guanghui Society and other institutions. He also served as the reporter and chief writer of Shenzhou Daily, Civil Rights Daily and Xinmin Times. In addition to his editing work, he also taught literature and history courses at Soochow University, the University of Hujiang and Ming Qiang High School. Later, he joined the civil service of the Republic of China government, and successively served in the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Finance, and the Examination Institute. In the first higher examination in the 20th year of the Republic of China and the second Higher examination in the 22nd year, he served as a member of the Civil Service Department of the Examination Academy.

Min Dingqing, male, born in September 1964, Doctor of Literature. He is currently a professor at the College of Literature, South China Normal University, and the director of the Teaching and Research Section of Modern Chinese Literature.
